International Bra Size Converter
Compare a UK/US-style starting size with common reference equivalents for the UK, US, EU, France, Australia/NZ, Canada and India. Conversion tables are useful when shopping internationally, but they are not perfectly standardized.
What the converter is doing
The tool treats the selected UK/US-style band as the starting reference, maps the band number to a common EU, French and Australian/NZ convention, and maps the cup letter using a reference sequence. Canada is shown with the US-style reference and India with a UK-style reference because those are common conventions in the sources checked for this site.
Country and system notes
UK and US
These systems share many early cup labels but diverge in the sequence at larger cup sizes. A UK E, for example, is commonly shown as US DDD in reference charts.
EU and France
EU band numbers use a metric convention such as 70, 75 and 80. French/Spanish band references are commonly 15 higher than the corresponding EU number.
Australia / NZ
Australia and New Zealand use their own band numbering such as 10, 12 and 14 and have a cup sequence that differs at some points.
Canada
Many reference charts use US-style band and cup labels for Canada, but individual Canadian brands can publish their own charts.
India
Many Indian lingerie brands use numbered bands with familiar UK-style cup labels, but brand charts vary. Check the Indian retailer's current guide before ordering.
Why conversions are not guarantees
A label conversion does not account for cup shape, wire width, fabric stretch, grading, breast shape or the fit model used by a brand. If you are shopping internationally, use the converter to narrow your starting point and then compare that result with the exact product's size chart.
